It would be nice to be able to specify a specific git revision to be switched to after cloning - in particular, for example one from a build parameter.
I see there's already a SpecificRevisionBuildChooser in jenkins.plugins.git.AbstractGitSCMSource - that looks suitable but is only applicable when the job extends SCMSourceOwner.class
The other BuildChoosers don't have this restriction. Is it really needed?
