I tried to read plugin code again, but I don't found anything wrong.
This plugin have never provided revision for first fetch. only ones for second fetch.
Also no git command call.
I also read git plugin code a bit. Perhaps config migration might have something wrong.
So you need to recheck this issue with clean environment.
