Daniel Beck resolved JENKINS-11128 as Not A Defect Free space on nodes should be validated against the custom workspace's disk, if defined in job Not a bug: Jenkins checks the Jenkins install directory's available disk space, as that's where Jenkins will write all data by default. This includes tool auto-installations and all job workspaces that don't have custom workspaces defined. So Jenkins absolutely wants to make sure enough free space is available for this. Custom workspaces are your responsibility, so they're ignored in that context.
