The new workflow-plugin for Jenkins looks like it may be just what we need to describe the tasks of a build process quickly and flexibly while also consolidating the outputs of the build into one place so that it is easy for end-users to find the information that they are looking for (e.g. console output, test results, build artifacts). I would like to try this plugin out to see if it lives up to the praise that Kohsuke and Jesse were giving it at their Boston conference.
Unfortunately (as far as I know; correct me if I'm wrong), neither of the Perforce plugins currently support the workflow-plugin and with the release of the new P4 plugin, there is little appetite for any further development against the legacy plugin. Could the p4 plugin be updated to support the workflow-plugin?
