The more I think about it, the more I wonder: How is this not obvious? "When configuring to delete old builds, the files stored for those builds are deleted." How could this possibly be any different? The remark related to CVS on "Poll SCM" is much less obvious, given that some SCMs can very quickly determine whether anything changed.
