That may indicate that you need to make some minor change to the job definition, and save it. That minor change and save may switch the job configuration file from using the git plugin 1.x settings to using the latest settings. Sorry for this junk comment. I confused this bug report with a completely different bug report. I'll need to stare at this more before I say anything else foolish.
