Daniel Beck commented on JENKINS-24961 GCC output in console badly parsed/modified Seems to be the default on old CentOS. If it's an SSH slave, I use the Prefix Start Slave command export LANG=en_US.UTF-8 ; to set a sane value. It's an Advanced option in the slave configuration.
