I just reproduced this same error on 1.583 After upgrading I noticed that any save of the global config caused this Exception. Then after reading these comments I looked at what I had configured for "Warn if all jobs exceed some size", and it checked and the value was blank. I unchecked the box and the exception went away. Thanks for the good notes that helped me on this one. Clearly the plugin needs to handle this case better, as I don't recall turning that option on and leaving it blank.
