Description:

If you generate a project, empty elements (e.g. "properties") are rendered as start+end tags (e.g. "<properties></properties>").
If you then re-generate a project, empty elements are rendered as combined tags (e.g. "<properties/>").
It makes diffs messy. Would it be possible to generate using combined tags as well?
