@Mehdi : Simply copy & paste chart image URL : the token is inside (url like http:// <ci-server>/plugin/global-build-stats/showChart?buildStatId=4Yq9vAR53sR0JTUuK*C5u8T@lq3bpwqL). I consider that is you share the link, you're sharing access to the chart. You will then be able to include this chart wherever you want (either in jenkins, or in a project dashboard). You will be able to regenerate a new token for each chart if needed (for security concerns).
@hiteswar : You just had to read the plugin's wiki page<https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Global+Build+Stats+Plugin> (see 0.3's release note<https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Global+Build+Stats+Plugin#GlobalBuildStatsPlugin-0.3%28August%2C17th%2C2010%29> ) Frédéric Camblor <http://fcamblor.wordpress.com/> <http://www.twitter.com/fcamblor> Bordeaux JUG <http://bordeauxjug.org/> Leader Jenkins <http://jenkins-ci.org/> community member & plugin commiter On Fri, Jun 21, 2013 at 6:05 AM, hitswar <[email protected]> wrote: > Fredric, > Can you please share which version o global build stats having featur to > share chart to normal users. > As i can see that Global build stats latest version 1.3 not having fature > to share chart to normal users.. > > Regards > Hiteswar > > > > > -------- Original message -------- > From: Frédéric Camblor <[email protected]> > Date: > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: Global Build Stats Plugin are accessible only for users with > Admin permission > > > Hi Mehdi, > > Chart's urls are "shareable" (they contain a unique token) : if you have > the token, you can display the chart, no matter if you're an admin or not. > > Nevertheless, only admins will be able to create new charts. > > I don't have time to implement a feature where users having access to > chart creation would be configurable (through a jenkins role for instance), > but plugin is OSS, so any pull request is welcome. > > Frédéric Camblor <http://fcamblor.wordpress.com/> > <http://www.twitter.com/fcamblor> > Bordeaux JUG <http://bordeauxjug.org/> Leader > Jenkins <http://jenkins-ci.org/> community member & plugin commiter > > > > On Tue, Jun 18, 2013 at 4:38 PM, Mehdi Hayani > <[email protected]>wrote: > >> Hi team, >> >> I think the email subject describes very well my problem.
