I did configured the mail server, I didn't config the individual users. This job uses Mercurial plugin, and when I set it to trigger the job via the 'poll' option, it works, and I receive an email with the developer name in the 'To' list. That's why I assume there aren't any problems related to the general configuration of email in Jenkins.
