Here is the offending plugin’s source code: https://github.com/jenkinsci/maven-plugin <https://github.com/jenkinsci/maven-plugin>. You could instead open an issue on Jira if you are not comfortable with Java development, but I don’t know how much time the Maven Plugin maintainers have to work on the plugin so it may be a while before anyone fixes it.
