"business logic" is that stuff that pays the bills. :-)
Also, you'll get ANY rulebased project approved by the bean counters if you call them
"business rules" rather than "rules," "rulebased systems," or "Artificial
Intelligence." When ND changed their approach from an AI company to a business
solutions company (using the same basic technology) their acceptance in the business
community went up dramatically and, consequently, their income from rulebased systems.
The bottom line is that you, the developer, have to improve their bottom line to get
the
moolah to continue. And if they (the business people) can see how rules, er , business
rules, can improve their efficiency and response time, they will line up to give you
buckets of money.
