Hi
Ernest, I believe that if a jobs worth doing its worth doing well. I think
the best option here would be to as you put it 'bite the bullet' and make
the changes so the design is more true to OO design. But still provide
support and manuals etc. for the previous versions.
Well that's my thought anyway.
