If you are really interested in this, we should talk. Basically it is too low-level for you, but if you were in the mood, it would be a chance to get paid while developing your development ability. It is also possible that you could tell them you want a more truly consulting level position at a higher rate with less travel. If you do really consider this be sure you really understand the 65% travel and have some examples of what 65% means for a month. For example, if you fly to NYC on Monday morning, work Tuesday through Thursday at 4 pm est, does that count as 3 days? 4 days?  5 days?

Specific duties will include:

·         assist and guide clients in building knowledge bases and the general use of our natural language rules authoring and management tool Authorete

·         assist clients with the implementation and integration of a rules engine (CIA Server) into their application environment

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

·         BS in Computer Science

·         2-4 years previous client consulting experience

·         strong client relationship building skills

·         good project management/organization skills

·         ability to recognize/develop new opportunities while engaged

·         2-4 years programming experience in C/C++, Java, Visual Basic

·         2+ years experience writing software for Microsoft Windows

·         familiarity with relational database technology

·         previous experience/familiarity with knowledge-based rules systems (CLIPS a plus)

·         ability to travel up to 65% of the time - worldwide
