Portlet rendering pipeline -- Cocoon 2.0 with mods to take advantage
of Struts 2.0

Pluggable services - Cornerstone,
including a BSF Service which can publish any BSF compliant script
as a service, service info to be set from XML config fileThis would result in a new enterprise class product, Jakarta Enterprise Portal, which would be hosted at site portals.apache.org.
