I will have the time to do the FINAL RELEASE next week (may need some help
with certain activities like setting up new milestone in Bugzilla).
I strongly feel that we should do the final release and not another Beta. I
understand that you have many new contributions but they can always be
included in 1.5. If we don't freeze the changes now, I guarantee that the
release will be delayed another 1-2 months. So my vote is +1 for the final
release.
+1
I prefer releasing and adding the new contributions in a separate branch for a future release or maintenance version

Yes, Im fine with that.In light of the new contributions, should we perhaps then tag the CVS and produce a 1.4b5? I would be fine with a 1.4b5.
I just want to point out that some one else is going to have to handle
doing the release, since I can't do it while Im out of the office
I'd be happy to cut the release when I return 3rd week of November
Otherwise, Mark has been through 2 release cycles and if he has time...
