At a minimum, I'd recommend referring users to the tutorial at the
beginning of the configuration section. Preferably, the documentation
on how to do the customization via properties files would be removed,
and documentation of how to do it using the Maven plugin would replace
it.
I'm willing to draft a set of revisions if people think it would be
useful and one of the contributors is willing to review and commit it.
I think it would be very useful. The plugins make it easy to build J1,
but they are difficult to getting started with without documentation
