Would it be worthwhile to consolidate the documentation of the
approaches? At a minimum, I'd recommend referring users to the
tutorial at the beginning of the configuration section. Preferably,
the documentation on how to do the customization via properties files
would be removed, and documentation of how to do it using the Maven
plugin would replace it.
I'm willing to draft a set of revisions if people think it would be
useful and one of the contributors is willing to review and commit it.
+1. It would be great to have documentation on the plugin. From my
experience property overriding works for a while but it's hard to
maintain if lot of changes go into the stream.
