Thanks. This is a great foundation for a plan for version 2.2. It
doesn't include all the features I'd like to see on the Roadmap, but
I think we need to address the issues listed below first as they are
by far the most important.
I will list my name for task that I feel I can contribute in inline,
as well as add Edgar's and DJ's names to the areas they have shown
interest in
From this thread we can eventually build a Roadmap (and publish it
on the website)

normalize some of the tables such as principals

- review and redesign our portlet preferences model and
implementation (Java preferences)
- design and implement a new decorator model and api to allow much
easier and cleaner definition of layout and portlet decorations

a Jetspeed lite configuration will be a lot easier to create once we
simplify the build
