Mail-server with send-mail configuration HEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!

Hi,   We have a problem with send-mail configuration in Jetspeed 1.3a1 under Linux Red Had 7.0   We put in TR.p  the next line   mail.server = smtp-server.fi.uva.es   What is wrong??   Could you help me??   Thanks!!
