Well, it _was_ returning the 500 error page with all
the details of exception. Hrm. Now it just gives a
generic 500 error.

But, instead it takes out everything with a big ole
seg fault. The trace for which (it's HUGE) can be seen
at http://jeromio.com/tomcat/jetspeedsegfault.txt. It
wasn't in a log file (even though I do have a path
specified for the tomcat error log. it just went to
the console.

What's changed? I've restarted apache and tomcat a few
times, but that's all. Strange.

I have tried using the tomcat webserver for
everything. But by that I mean I left in the default
part of the config that specifies a generic http
handler. Got the same behavior, although the
formatting of the error page was the different.

The readme thing for the install made everything seem
soooo simple. Sigh.....
