I am creating Jetspeed Debugger Guide

I have several question to make it more great..
Help please..
1. default.psml
I see in the default.psml I found
user="default" on portlets element
<portlets user="default"
xmlns="http://xml.apache.org/jetspeed/2000/psml";>
But I try to remove it, it is still working.. is it
used default if not writen there
what is user attribute for, because if I remove it,
the page render it correctly.
2. How it work???
org.apache.jetspeed.services.jsp.tags.JetspeedPaneTag
How can this tag calling all the velocity template.
Do you have a tips to modify all the vm so I can used
jsp??
