Yes, but...
1: the ant build tool may use some system-dependent commands...which may
sometimes behave differently.
2: the java class libraries are the same, but the native code which makes
them run ( the virtual machine and the native parts of the java class
libraries) depends on the JDK implementation and platform.
Theoretically, the software written and compiled on any Java supported
machine will run on any java supported machine, but if it don't, there is
some bug/problem in one of the JVM on one of your platforms.
Therefore, the software should always be tested on all the targeted platforms.
