Please IGNORE my last post about where to find the .jar files when
TOMCAT_HOME and CLASSPATH aren't set. I figured out where they were coming
from and removed the jaxp.jar & parser.jar files then replaced them with the
newer xerces_1_3_1.jar.
NO Exceptions now!! Thanks Paul and thanks Graham!!
Bob.

Subject: RE: Receiving Error on Jetspeed homepage...
Upon viewing these directories I do not have any of crimson.jar, jaxp.jar,
or parser.jar within the /webapps/jetspeed/WEB-INF/lib directory nor any
variation thereof. I did notice that the other file (xerces_1_3_1.jar) is
there and is the correct version.
One thing here...I do not have a TOMCAT_HOME set nor do I set CLASSPATH. So
when starting Tomcat I get....
Guessing TOMCAT_HOME from tomcat.sh to ./..
Setting TOMCAT_HOME TO ./..
Using CLASSPATH:
./../lib/ant.jar:./../lib/jasper.jar:./../lib/jaxp.jar:./../lib/parser.jar:.
/../lib/servlet.jar:./..lib/test.jar (as you get the idea...)
Where would it be looking and defining this CLASSPATH from?? Providing I
can find where its getting this info should I add xerces_1_3_1.jar to this
path?
Thanks,
Bob.
