Hi, I can confirm your observation.
Netscape is very slow! But sometimes it's even slow on a IE. But I understand that it takes some time to gather all those informations - think of contacting 5 different url's simultaneously to get their content! For software projects like jetspeed I would say the most important part is a clever caching mechanism! Maybe we can do some improvements on it...
