Guido, uPortal is a portal developed by a bunch of colleges and universities to meet the needs of the higher education community. It is more of a "community source" project than "open source". By building a portal "by educators, for educators", they community has been able to get software vendors and government agencies to provide channel content that relates to higher education. If you represent a college or university, uPortal is worth a look. Otherwise, go with Jetspeed. cj
