Jetspeed and Active Directory

Hi, could anybody help me on the subject with Active Directory? If I have the organization mapped into my Active Directory, can I make use of that in Jetspeed? If so, how? By using hte existing LDAP-classes and modifying them, sure, but specifically what am I looking for in those classes?
