The jetspeed nightly download is still not available, but I am successful with the CVS down-load for anonymous. Looks like we will need to rely on the CVS for awhile, since Cactus is not the only trouble.

oops... I was looking at the wrong place. Gump has moved from
jakarta.apache.org/... to cvs.apache.org/... but the page is still there on
jakarta.apache.org/...

BTW, I have fixed the issue with the Cactus build in CVS so it should be ok
for the next Gump run.

Sorry and thanks for your patience.

Actually, the Cactus build failed because the HttpUnit build failed...

I'll

try to fix this.

Thanks

Gump has the following failure message for Jetspeed.
PREREQ FAILURE - jakarta-cactus-framework-13
and further info is found at
http://cvs.apache.org/builds/gump/latest/jakarta-jetspeed.html
There has not been a successful build for a long time, is there a light
at the end of the tunnel?

I tried the CVS anonymous, but I get a Connection refused. I am guessing
this is a firewall issue on my side.
cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/cvspublic login
password: anoncvs
Is Jetspeed currently available for anonymous download or do we need a
login id?

Thanks,
Glen

The nightly build is performed by Gump, which rebuild many of the

Apache

projects. Many of the projects have dependencies on other projects,
which determines the build order or if a build is attempted. Since
Jetspeed relies on other projects, frequently it is not built.
