Sangam, I had this a couple times. Although I don't understand what the problem is, or why my solution helped, I did the following:
1. do a shutdown.sh 2. do a startup.sh 3. wait a moment (ie be patient) 4. Check to see if jetspeed.war is untarred to directory jetspeed. If so, check to see what's in jetspeed/WEB-INF. On a couple occasions I found only a conf directory in there with a couple of files. Clearly you also need lib/*, and so on. Each time I fixed this by touching jetspeed.war so it's more recent than the jetspeed directory, then doing a shutdown.sh and startup.sh. Why the war doesn't completely "jar xv" is what I don't understand.
