I will have to implement something similar but haven't started yet. I was thinking of using lucene http://jakarta.apache.org/lucene/docs/index.html but have not had a chance to do the research to find out if it is the right tool for the job and the maturity of the project. Any one know of any other such packages or about Lucene?
