I have tried using Jetspeed (just set it up and play with it). I wonder why when I log in as admin and make some changes (adding a new portlet) the portlet is not shown after I log out.

1. is that how a portal should work or not? 2. how to make it permanent? I mean the change by admin can't be overruled.
