No it doesn't, in fact it is empty. I noticed that the JspPortletAction method "setTemplate" has been deprecated, so I guess I incorrectly assumed that since I specified the customizetemplate in the registry that the Jetspeed engine would switch the customize portlet with the original portlet. So if it is deprecated what is the right method to implement this functionality?
As a side note, I noticed in the javadoc for JspPortletAction that "NOTE:This supports the pre-MVC style of template based portlet development and is supplied for backward compatibility. It is suggested you use a combination of ". Is the JspPortlet going to be phased out? I am right about to build about 10 portlets so I want to get it as close to right as possible.
