I remember using once IFramePortlets without this space, but I don't use it in my 
project so I can't tell for sure..
The fix is supposed to remove all the space left on right of portlet, in fact it was 
all the action buttons (minimize, maximize, ...) that were "alone" on their side.
Is it what is happening to you, or are you talking about some other space somewhere ?
