Hi, I need to know how to get the portlet ID in the customize page. I have a VelocityPortlet say A and In the buildNormalContext I can get the portlet object and use getID to get the id. Now this portlet A will provide customization. So I have included a parameter "_customizer" in the xreg file and value is other portlet say CA. So when the user clicks on pencil icon of portlet A it will take him to the CA. Here I need portlet A's id by and I tried using portlet.getID() but it is returning null.
Do we have to do any other thing get the home portlet's ID in the customize page? Please let me know the solution or any work around.
