No no, what I mean is than a tab (page) can be defined in a psml file. Each tab has a seperate psml. You can make a tab visible by accesing the psml in the portal url.
Have a look at the default jetdpeed installation with examples. Observe the url in your browser when switching the tabs (jsf-demo ... petstore ...)
