I've noticed that sometimes after updating the project from apache I have had to remove the local maven repository and cache. It could be that it somehow doesn't use the currently built jars and uses rather the previous ones from the repository or something. The it will download/build the current jars again but the build works.

Don't know if thats the case here.

I ran into it and what I did was the following:

   * Make sure the project home in build.properties is set correctly:
     org.apache.jetspeed.project.home
   * I rebuilt the latest bridges but I'm not sure that's necessary to
     resolve the j2 build problem
   * rebuild the j2 plugin
   * rebuild j2 allClean allBuild

Hope it works for you as well

Well, it doesn't. That is, I did not "rebuilt the latest bridges". Could
you please tell me how to do this?

Thanks,
