Will all these users be building Jetspeed? If not, then there is no need to concern yourself with this. These settings are only for the purpose of building from source and not for actually using the app. If you do have multiple users needing to kick off your builds, I would HIGHLY suggest you look into a build server, like Continuum or Anthill, to assist you with this. If you don't fancy putting together such an environment, I would then say create a dedicated profile for running the Jetspeed builds.
