The only thing I know about this issue is that the "Login" process does
what you're trying to achieve: a folder named as @username@ that it's
only accessible by the owner (because of an <owner> security constraint
definition in the folder.metadata) is created.

that's right and if it behaves like you described it my problem is
already solved :)
If only the owner can access the folder i can use the public-edit
constraint in the page cause the page is in the folder.

thanks a lot,
   Martin

Oops, ok... I didn't understand what your problem was then...

The only thing I know about this issue is that the "Login" process does
what you're trying to achieve: a folder named as @username@ that it's
only accessible by the owner (because of an <owner> security constraint
definition in the folder.metadata) is created.

Though I'm interested in this matter also, I didn't face the Login
process yet so I can't tell you anything else... =/ Sorry.

Regards,
Enrique

Hi Enrique,

thanks for the answer, but i think these constraints only work IF YOU
KNOW THE USERNAME.

I have a template of a page for all users. Whenever a user is created,
this template is copied to the new user folder and THEN THE USERNAME
HAS
TO
BE DYNAMICALLY SET inside the security constraint.

I first thought maybe @username@ is dynamically replaced by jetspeed,
but
that's not the case.

So how to constrain to the user dynamically ?

regards,
    Martin
