The thing is that I tried 2.1.3 as well, but it was 2.1.3-dev. Maven
could not find just 2.1.3 version on these repositories:
maven.repo.remote = http://www.bluesunrise.com/maven/,
http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/, http://dist.codehaus.org/,
http://cvs.apache.org/repository
Ugh, this is very bad :(
I wanted to suggest to replace http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/ with
http://repo1.maven.org/maven/ as ibiblio no longer is reliable (or even
at all usable as maven repository). We clearly need to update the docs
and our instructions for this.
But, I just noticed that the maven team, in all their "wisdom" have
"migrated" the repo1.maven.org/maven/ repository to now be based off the
maven-2 repository... See: http://repo2.maven.org/maven/readme.html
However, by doing so, they "lost" everything maven-1 specific, like the
maven-1 plugins :(
It really shows maven-1 is getting phased out rather (too) quickly now.
Man, that really s*cks.
For the time being, you can add the public maven-1 repository at
http://repository.hippcms.org/maven/ which also provides all the
jetspeed-2.1.3 release artifacts, and I'll talk to David Taylor if we
should upload the 2.1.3 artifacts to the bluesunrise maven-1 repository
too.
Ugh, typo above: the hippo repository is at
http://repository.hippocms.org/maven/
We released the jetspeed-2.1.3 maven-1 artifacts to the repo1.maven.org
repository (as it was the main and automatic redirect/mirror of ibiblio)
and no longer to the bluesunrise repository as that seemed the more
stable and reliable way to do, but clearly we've been proven wrong here.
Truly sorry about this, and we'll look into fixing this in a more
stable/permanent way ASAP.

Ate
These are from installation guide I followed. I opened those repo web
pages with browser and checked what is available and there was these
2.1.2 and 2.1.3-dev and some more others. Actually right now I have
deployed 2.1.3-dev version before it was 2.1.2 and both gave same
result. However I'll try to do it again. Maybe do you know any other
repositories ?
Regarding this Meld software, is possible to use it only via terminal
without GUI?? Anyway I do not have maven plugin in version 2.1.3.
Thanks a lot for helping me.

Sorry, I missed your initial report.
Yes, it seems your configuration in this respect seems fine.
It difficult to tell what exactly is wrong in your installation, but
as you
also installed using the demo installer, the end result of your custom
portal setup should be practically the same (except for the different
Portal
name).
One thing I noticed from your initial report is that you say you
downloaded
the maven-jetspeed2-plugin using -Dversion=2.1.2, not -Dversion=2.1.3?
Maybe that's just a typo in your report, but if not, please delete
the 2.1.2
plugin from your local repository again (including the cache folder)
and try
again with -Dversion=2.1.3
Then, if both your custom Portal and the demo installer based portal are
based off the same source, maybe you can run a diff between both
installations to see if you can find some (significant) difference.
(On Linux, I use Meld a lot for graphical comparison between
directories,
great tool)
