I realize that since I don't have write-access, I can't this
'officially' but I would say +1 for starting the process of releasing
Jetspeed as 1.0.  

However, I do think that having the ability for users to choose which
portlets they see, would go a long way in bringing people into the
project.  I guess it just depends on how quickly we could get that code
to work.
