I think this is a good point. You seem to be saying that the side projects
like calendar and project might be premature given where the core is, but
my feeling is that they are not detracting.

I feel that way mostly because two of the developers (myself and Sandy)
would not be contributing code if it were for our little pet projects.

I have read your email on custimization I will be replying to that. I
think custimization is VERY important, but right now I have to focus on a
web-based calendar. I have been saying that since April, but things keep
popping up :(.

I would start out in the org.apache.jetspeed.portal code and also checking
out the XML schemas for psml there are two schemas one for layout and the
other for the actual portlets.

I am sorry if this is to basic but I really feel the core of Jetspeed is
in there.
