I had similar problems after PostgreSQL threw an exception during
logout. After that, the user could not login again unless I restarted
jetspeed. It was due to the database connection getting in a unstable
state, freezing at the next login attempt.
I think some upgrade of the turbine.jar in jetspeed cured the problem,
but I'm not sure.
