Forgive this overly-simple answer, but, you could always use an applet. I
wanted to display 4 analog clocks, one for each of our offices timezones. I
simply created an applet to display the clocks, then created a static/html
file calling the applet, then updated the .psml files accordingly. (you
should be able to find any number of stock ticker applets on the internet)
