I won't regurgitate it here but the Jetspeed CVS has been unbuildable for a
long time and it has nothing to do with the Turbine security overhaul. It
didn't build prior to that either. And rather than spend endless time as a
non-committer trying to figure out something that should not fundamentally
be broken, I've been spending my efforts on Turbine for our company, doing
SiteMinder and LDAP integration work. When I see a Jetspeed CVS update build
out of the box, then I will step over and work on doing a change list for
the new security framework. And lacking that, after I finish my LDAP work, I
may take it up anyway, assuming that it is not fixed by then since we are
eager to see the caching bug in 1.2b1 fixed as well as the customization
feature working. For reference, I've not checked the Jetspeed CVS snapshot
since Friday I think. I'll update again tomorrow but have to step out this
afternoon for a doctor's appointment.
