Jon, have you ever heard of the word "transitional period" ? If duringthe time
it takes to move most Jetspeed internal services as real Turbine services,
I want to subclass Turbine to initialize the non-ported-yet components rather
than building a non funtioal service, I don't see the fault.
In a few weeks, the Jetspeed init() method should be empty and so we can
remove this subclass. Making Turbine final will prevent us from using
the latest Turbine release during the catch-up phase, am I alone in thinking
this is bad ?

I agree about the version numbering. Jetspeed should not be released yet.
