Hi,
I was curious about two things. One, is there a list,
formal or informal, about the various portlets being
developed or currently in Jetspeed? And is a Hello
Portlet a good place to start to understand Jetspeed?
Or is there a new programmers guide?
Second, and this is more of a programing/design issue.
Is there a portlet that can pull content from other
portlets. What I am looking for is something that can
store all sorts of information in one place. But, I
need relative content to be displayed in the same
place. I often times find a email has more in common
with notes, various files, and web links than with
other emails. I don't see why content has to be
grouped by type. Yes, you can cram it all in to one
directory, but then you can't easily manipulate it.
It is just something I would like to be able to do. I
am looking at using Jetspeed for personal use only. I
want to be able to have all my relavent information in
one place, and be able to access it securely over the
internet. BTW I am willing to implement this myself
once I understand better how Jetspeed works.
Thanks all,
Anthony Mills
