Sounds like you are running the 1.2B1.
This was fixed a while back and is available in the CVS.
If you are not comfortable with CVS, or if you just want to get things
running quickly so you can "check it out", I suggest you go to
MyComponents.com and download OpenJODA. They have an installer which makes
everything pretty "brainless".
Once you check things out and have a reference installation, it may be
easier to come back and install manually the version from CVS.
