Bummer, maybe you aren't doing a good enough job of evangelizing OSS in your
company. One of the primary pluses of OSS is the fact that anyone can
contribute to making the software better. In fact, that has happened with
this project. The primary developer flew the coop and a bunch of people
stood up, took over and made the project much much much better. That is the
power of OSS. 

Next month, when M$ decides to kill the Dashboard project, what are you
going to do? What happens when you find a bug in it? What happens if you
want to add a feature to it that isn't supported? Blah blah blah...
