JSR-356 will be Jetty 9 only.

3 reasons for this.
 + JSR-356 is built for Java 7+
 + Jetty 9's websocket implementation has been refactored heavily to
support the JSR.
 + Many decisions in the JSR were made with the upcoming Servlet API 3.1 in
mind.
